Pop Art and Modern Paintings Highlight the July 18 Auction at 888 Auctions

Richmond Hill, ON – With another outstanding sale under its belt during a surprisingly lucrative summer season, 888 Auctions is once again proud to feature 407 fresh-to-market items and the inclusion of some exciting paintings at its Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 2 PM (EST).

Pop Art remains a strong staple part of 888 Auctions and therefore, collectors will be pleased to find the inclusion of several lots within this category. Leading the way is Lot 260, an attributed Mr. Brainwash Signed Silkscreen Lithograph. Numbered 2/100 in pencil and stamped “Original serigraphy” on verso, this piece is expected to surpass its high estimate of $4,000.

Another piece that is garnering interest can be also be found at Lot 215, an attributed Ed Ruscha American Pop Acrylic on Paper painting. Featuring a landscape scene of a gas station and signed Ed Ruscha on the lower right corner, this attributed piece features a $5,000 high estimate.
