Oil on canvas, framed, featuring a portrait of an instrumentalist. Signed Max Weber on the lower right corner. A gallery label is affixed to the verso and it is inscribed FROM THE GALLERIES OF ASSOCIATED AMERICAN ARTISTS / 711 FIFTH AVENUE NEW YORK 99, N. Y. / Artist: MAX WEBER / TITLE / MEDIUM: Oil on CANVAS / LEDGER NO / RACK NO. In addition, there are also two stamps illegibly inscribed. Another stamp on verso inscribed C2 02588. Stamped on upper right and lower right corner, verso inscribed JAMROZ ART GALLERY. Attributed to Max Weber (1881-1961, American). 70 x 51 cm (27.5 x 20 inches). Framed size: 82 x 62 cm (32 x 24 inches). PROVENANCE: This lot carries limited provenance from a Southern Ontario estate
