Fine Paintings, Gems & Coins Feature Heavily in Online and Phone Bidding Only on May 21, 2020 Auction
Richmond Hill, ON – With summer quickly approaching, 888 Auctions continues to provide fresh offerings to its clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. This time, 406 fresh-to-market items have been included in the May 21 Gems, Sports Memorabilia & Fine Art auction.
Paintings continue to perform at 888 Auctions and several pieces are expected to hammer down for strong prices. Leading the way is the cover lot of the auction: Lot 108, featuring an attributed Banksy British Pop Signed Lithograph on Paper. Featuring figures attempting to throw spears at a group of shopping carts, signed BANKSY and inscribed 7/400 on the lower right corner, Lot 108 commands a $4,000 high estimate.
Another lithograph shares the spotlight at Lot 99, an attributed Salvador Dali Spanish Surrealist Signed Lithograph E.A. Featuring a surrealist landscape, signed Dali, and inscribed E.A. artist’s proof in pencil on the lower right and lower left corner, this piece is expected to exceed its high estimate of $800.
