Fine Art, Diamonds & Violins Lead the Way at 888 Auctions’ July 16, 2020 Auction
Richmond Hill, ON – As buyers and sellers spend their summers increasingly at home, buyers and sellers have both been looking to take advantage of online auctions. Two are highlighted in this auction at Lot 68, a signed and attributed Banksy British Pop Dismaland Spray on Canvas (High Estimate: $4,000); and Lot 110, an attributed Roy Lichtenstein American Pop Oil on Canvas (High Estimate: $2,000).
Diamonds continue to garner significant interest at the auction with the star lot featured at Lot 277, a 1.05 ct Brilliant Round Diamond D Color VS. Accompanied with an NGIC certificate of authenticity, this is expected to surpass its high estimate of $2,500.
Collectors of musical instruments may also be interested in the rare inclusion of a Antonius Stradiuarius Violin at Lot 389. This is expected to surpass its high estimate of $1,000.
