Pop Art, Modern Paintings & Gemstones Featured in First Winter Auction at 888 Auctions November 11
Richmond Hill, ON – With the start of the winter season, 888 Auctions is set to feature 413 fresh-to-market items with a specialized emphasis on Pop Art, Modern Paintings and Gemstones. The live auction will be conducted on the gallery floor of 888 Auctions’ at 2 PM (EST).
A fine selection of pop art is expected to garner heavy interest in the days leading up to the auction. The featured cover lot of the auction is Lot 208, an attributed Banksy British Pop Signed Lithograph painting. Featuring a boy holding a skateboard and being quoted “GONNA BE FOREVER YOUNG IN My BODY AND MIND,” this lot is also signed Banksy and inscribed 2/200 on the lower right corner. Additionally, it is also inscribed ITEM 14 and stamped ART FAIR, LONDON on verso and is expected to surpass its high estimate of $3,000.
