RICHMOND HILL, Ontario – 888 Auctions is proud to announce its October auction by featuring Ng collection of Asian arts and antiques with its Asian Antiques & Fine Art sale Thursday, October 11th, 2012.
The 544-lot auction features several rare items headlined by a Fine Chinese Watercolour Silk Scroll Painting by Pu Yi 1906 – 1967 at Lot 16A. The Chinese watercolour painting is mounted on silk scroll featuring landscape by the Last Emperor of China Pu Yi. The painting was signed by the artist and presumed to be painted in Taiwan. It was in a possession of a private collector, Mr. Ng who purchased the painting in Hong Kong thirty years ago. The painting is expected to surpass its high estimate of $6,500.00.
