888 Auctions’ November 12th Asian Antiques & Jewellery Sale
Richmond Hill, ON – Thursday, November 12th marks 888 Auctions second last sale of the year and collectors will be pleased to find an excellent collection of fresh to market Asian Antiques and Jewellery.
Highlighting the sale will be three standout ceramic pieces. Leading the way is Lot 318, an Imperial Yangcai Porcelain Vase. Marked with the imperial seal of Qianlong, this rare porcelain lantern vase also bears a text stating the original provenance: reading “An imperial order made in January, 1736 for Tang Ying, the supervisor of official kilns”. Lot 318 commands a $350,000 high estimate. Other ceramic pieces sure to please collectors can be found at the following lots:

Lot 331: Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Vase Yongzheng Mark (High Estimate: $16,000)
Jewellery continues to hold great interest for bidders and 888 Auctions continues to share quality items. From the group of jewellery items available for bidding is Lot 228, Grade A Natural Chinese Green Jadeite Ring 18K. The ring features an oval-shaped emerald green jadeite ring framed in 18K gold and carries an $8,000 high estimate.
